Cutting-Edge Peel and Stick Membranes

Simplify your tile installation with Schluter®-DITRA-HEAT-PS and DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS. These membranes feature a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) that eliminates the need for thin-set mortar. Installation is a breeze: just remove the transparent release film from the fleece side to reveal the adhesive layer. Then, effortlessly embed the membrane into the substrate using a float, screed trowel, or DITRA-ROLLER.

The -PS versions offer the same core functions as DITRA-HEAT and DITRA-HEAT-DUO, providing uncoupling, waterproofing, vapor management, and load support. They are specifically designed to securely hold the DITRA-HEAT-E-HK electric floor heating cables, ensuring a durable and long-lasting tile installation.

Enhanced Features for Superior Performance

DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS takes it a step further with its thicker bonding fleece, offering additional benefits. It provides sound control, reducing impact sound transmission in floor-ceiling assemblies. Additionally, it acts as a thermal break, reducing heat loss to the substrate and improving floor warming response time, especially over concrete substrates.

DITRA-HEAT-PS has a thickness of 1/4″ (5.5 mm), while DITRA-HEAT-DUO-PS measures 5/16″ (8 mm). Both membranes feature cutting grooves for easy cutting and enhanced flexibility during installation.

Simplified Installation Process

While a primer is not required for DITRA-HEAT-PS/DUO-PS, it is recommended for optimal adhesion, particularly on difficult-to-bond substrates. We recommend using Schluter®-PRIMER-U for the best results.
